While the ProXCT season began back in March, racing on the Colorado Front Range is just getting underway, as the snow melt begins and trees finally start to bloom.
With the Whiskey 50 in Prescott, AZ, just a week away, the first race in the Rocky Mountain Endurance series, Ridgeline Rampage XC, seemed like a perfect opportunity to check the systems while keeping fatigue levels low. The course was punchy, flowy and fast -- all of which made for great race conditions.
Making his mountain bike debut in pink, Keith moved to the front from the get-go with an elite group of riders including our friend Sam Morrison, along with two Honey Stinger riders.
Keith noted, "After a handful of action packed laps, I was satisfied to roll through the finish in second. I felt like I was climbing well and had great flow on the descents. I would call it a successful debut with my fresh new EVOL colors! All systems are go and I'm ready for next week's big'un in Arizona."
