On the Steps!

Plains to Peaks had another great race last weekend (I know, I know, we probably should have posted this like four days ago!). Scott landed another solid top-10, Jesse rolled a tubular, but don't worry, "Jesse's okay." Most notably, we scored our first elite podium of the season! Spencer was locked in an intense dogfight with Pete Webber and Brandon Dwight, two legends of the local 'cross scene from Boulder Cycle Sport. To top it off, Tim Allen from Feedback Sports was in the mix.

Fortunately, crafty ol' Spencer played his cards right and got on the front end when the group split, going head-to-head with Dwight in the closing laps of the race. Unfortunately, he got gapped in one of the bumpy power sections, but hung on for second. Heading into the crux of the season, Plains to Peaks is top-3 in the Elite Men's standings and ready to throw down!
