Jesse's got a taste for tacky dirt
'Cross racers would make good postal carriers because we're out there every weekend, rain or shine. The U.S. Grand Prix of Cyclocross came to Colorado for its second round of racing, and it served up all the extremes that 'cross has to offer. Saturday was a sloppy, cold mess. Jess, Scott, Jesse and Josh soldiered on through the tough conditions and finished respectably in a stacked UCI elite field.

Sunday, on the other hand, was warm, sunny and dry. Seems like young Jesse likes it that way, as he rode to his best-ever finish in a UCI race, coming home in 28th. Plus, unlike most mailmen, he's happy to work on Sunday.

Oh, and we'd be remiss not to mention that the Evol Elite Racing crew had a strong showing up in the mountains the weekend before, with Josh, Spencer and Grant all landing on the podium in Buena Vista on Sunday.
Spencer gives the old Plains to Peaks colors a proper sendoff in Frisco before they're retired for the pink and black.
