On any given Sunday

Interlocken and Xilinx. Grass and dirt. Night and day.

You'd have a tough time finding two Colorado 'cross courses that are more different, but these two races have one thing in common: they're both mainstays of the local schedule and well-loved for their respective unique qualities. Carrying on full steam ahead after the USGP weekend, the Evol Elite Racing crew showed up in force this weekend, going toe-to-toe with heavy-hitting pros, since the national schedule was on hiatus this weekend.

The big highlight of the weekend was Evol's under-23 development rider, Jesse Goodrich, landing on the podium for his first time ever. Not only that, but he scored his third place finish at Xilinx, on a rough, loose course, that even he admitted was a bit beyond his comfort level. Not only that, Spencer and Josh landed in the top-10 as well for a strong team showing to wrap up the weekend. Expect more excitement next weekend at the Colorado Cross Classic and Boulder Cup. Pray for snow!

Thanks to Hannelore Eckmann for the photos!
